Heroes 5K
What is the Heroes 5K run / 2K Walk?
The 10th Annual Heroes 5K is a charity event organized by Shields of Hope and the Blendon Township Firefighters Association. Shields of Hope is run by local Public Safety professionals in the West Michigan area. The mission is to spread hope, love and encouragement to those in our community affected by cancer. All are welcome to participate in the 5k run or 2K walk. Police, Fire, EMS, and Military personnel are challenged to run in full service gear!
Proceeds from the Heroes 5K will go directly to fund the new Shields of Hope Scholarship program. This program was created to support those who have been personally affected by cancer and pursuing higher education through college, university, or trade school.
Early Registrations & Sponsorships Due by Oct 1

Friday, November 3
5:30pm – 7:30pm – Early Registration/Packet Pickup
Saturday, November 4
7:30am – 8:45am – Registration/Packet Pickup
9:00am – 5K/2K Race/Walk Starts
10:15am – Awards Presentation
